Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification to teach Special Education Experience working with students in special education settings, including those with mild to moderate disabilities Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and goal setting Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse needs Commitment to maintaining a compassionate, supportive classroom atmosphere
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide instruction and support tailored to students' unique abilities and learning styles Collaborate regularly with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success Communicate effectively with parents and guardians on progress and challenges Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as needed This contract opportunity offers the chance to directly impact the educational journey of students who need it most.
