As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your expertise will help shape the foundation for lifelong learning, ensuring each child's unique needs are met with care and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead innovative teaching practices, collaborate with dedicated staff, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. Duties Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and individual student needs Lead classroom activities that promote literacy, math skills, social-emotional growth, and behavioral management Collaborate with families to create individualized education plans (IEPs) for children with disabilities or special needs Supervise and mentor teaching assistants and support staff to ensure high-quality instructional delivery Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress through observations, standardized testing, and portfolio reviews Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies and behavioral health techniques Maintain accurate documentation related to child development, attendance, incident reports, and communication logs Requirements Proven experience working with young children in early childhood education or preschool settings Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, special education practices, and behavioral therapy techniques Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy/math instruction Familiarity with IEP processes, speech therapy integration, and working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, staff, and community partners Classroom management skills that foster a safe, inclusive learning environment Certification or training in behavioral health or behavior management is preferred Prior experience in private schools or Montessori settings is advantageous Join us as a Lead Teacher to ignite curiosity, inspire confidence, and empower the next generation of learners!
