Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful full-time opportunity where you'll make a direct impact in a supportive educational environment. This contract position offers a stable, 40-hour workweek and the chance to work onsite, providing vital 1:1 interpreting services for an elementary student in need of dedicated support. Your expertise as a School-Based Special Education Teacher with proficiency in sign language interpreting will help bridge communication, foster learning, and promote inclusion. In this engaging role, you'll collaborate closely with educators and students, ensuring the child receives equal access to instruction and classroom activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid credentials and experience as a Special Education Teacher Current EIPA score of at least 3.5, though a 3.3 will also be considered Demonstrated ability to interpret one-on-one for elementary-aged students Commitment to working onsite with full-time weekday availability Strong collaboration and communication skills with both staff and students Passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
