Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic 2-year-old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. This full-time position runs from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers to explore, learn, and grow. As a 2yo Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering developmental milestones, creating engaging lesson plans, and maintaining a safe and joyful classroom. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for each child's future success while building strong relationships with families and colleagues. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to toddlers' developmental stages, including literacy, motor skills, social-emotional learning, and early math concepts Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence Manage daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor activities with patience and professionalism Use effective behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and resolve conflicts calmly Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare standards by documenting incidents accurately and promptly Incorporate early intervention techniques when necessary to support children with special needs or developmental delays Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is essential Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles specific to toddlers aged 1-3 years Experience developing curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, physical activity, and social skills Familiarity with classroom management strategies tailored for young children to foster positive behavior Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or early intervention is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every toddler feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential!
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
