In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for toddlers and preschool-aged children. Your focus will be on fostering early childhood development through innovative lesson planning, effective classroom management, and personalized care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives while working in a supportive and dynamic setting. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate Abeka curriculum tailored to toddler and preschool development stages. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social-emotional growth. Plan and execute daily lessons and activities that promote early intervention strategies and support children. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and support children's needs. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health standards, and safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and special education practices. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or literacy education. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Familiarity with preschool experience is preferred. we are a Christian based preschool that teaches the children about Jesus. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable But not required. Passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love of learning from an early age.
