Special Education Teachers — Multiple Openings FULL‑TIME | ONSITE |
LINCOLNTON, NC
| 2026-2027 SCHOOL
YEAR ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking four full‑time Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year across multiple settings: Elementary — Adapted Curriculum (EC‑AC) Middle School — Resource (EC‑GC) High School — Self‑Contained (EC‑AC) High School — Inclusion / Co‑Teaching (EC‑GC) These are onsite roles supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, and functional needs. Teachers will collaborate with EC teams, general education staff, administrators, and related service providers to deliver compliant, student‑centered instruction aligned to IEP goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide specially designed instruction aligned to state standards Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with federal and state guidelines Deliver services through inclusion, co‑teaching, small‑group instruction, or self‑contained settings depending on assignment Implement accommodations, modifications, and intervention plans Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and service logs Collaborate with general education teachers, EC staff, administrators, and related service providers Support executive functioning, academic readiness, and functional skill development Create a structured, positive, student‑centered learning environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Active or eligible North Carolina teaching license with: Adapted Curriculum (K-12) for EC‑AC roles General Curriculum (K-12) for EC‑GC roles School‑based experience preferred Ability to work full‑time, onsite for the 2026-2027 school year

June 1, 2027 Schedule Monday through Friday Standard school hours 30‑minute unpaid lunch 37.5 hours per week Onsite, K-12 school‑based settings
COMPENSATION
Hourly Rate $45
  • 50 per hour 37.5 hours/week Weekly total: $1,687.50
  • 1,875/week Monthly total (×4): $6,750
  • 7,500/month Rate depends on license, experience, and setting.
