Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

We're currently hiring Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year near Mooresville, NC! Responsibilities Develop and implement IEPs and individualized instruction. Adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs. Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior supports. Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families. Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent communication. Maintain compliance with IDEA and state special education regulations. Position Details Full-time, Monday-Friday Contract position with renewal potential Middle and High School openings - Resource/Inclusion Autism-focused classroom settings Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education Active NC DPI License - EC Adaticve Preferred, EC General Curriculum accepted with strong Autism Experience Why Navra?
