Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher working with middle and high school students who have a high level of autism and follow the extended content standard curriculum. In this contract position, you'll be part of a dedicated educational team providing vital instruction and support to a caseload of approximately 15 to 18 students. This role runs from August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027, with a permitted schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 3:30pm, totaling up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications & Skills:

Valid Adapted Curriculum License for Special Education (required) Experience working with students who have moderate to severe autism preferred Strong understanding of extended content standards Ability to customize instruction for diverse learning needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills Organizational skills and flexibility managing a moderate total caseload

Responsibilities:
