With a focus on individualized instruction and a team-based approach, we create an environment where every child can thrive at their own pace. Summary We work with children who are diagnosed with autism and other disabilities, ranging in age from 5 to 22 years of age and are currently looking for a special education trained, K-2 Teacher Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities Support the lead teachers and students Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as necessary to optimize learning outcomes per the teachers' directions Promote social skills development within the classroom setting Requirements Experience working with children with disabilities is essential. Knowledge of ABA/behavioral therapy techniques and basic curriculum development are important. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, parents, and students. Creativity, patience and flexibility are essential for our staff.
