Qualifications and Experience:

Valid state or national certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Proven experience working with children or adolescents who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations Proficiency in sign language (ASL or other) preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and related service providers Compassionate, patient, and creative approach to diverse learning needs
