Site Coordinators Schedule:
Year Round Teacher position with non-paid academic breaks Hours of work : Full Day Mon-Thursday 8-4pm Fridays will be for classroom planning, trainings, and home visit days. A calendar is provided with some Fridays being non workdays.
Employee Benefits and Wage:
$18.52 w/o CDA starting- 5% increase after 90 days with performance review. If you have a
CDA:
$19.93 starting pay Generous 403(b) 5% company contribution with no match necessary after 90 days of employment. PTO accrual increases after 3 years of service. lunch meal provided Health insurance, dental and vision (eligible almost immediately-1st of the following month). Purpose of Position:
To provide a positive learning environment varied experiences that will help lead them develop in all areas in a manner appropriate to their age and stage of development. Works with another co teacher overseeing a classroom of 8 children.
Classroom ages are the following:
Infants, 1-2 year olds, and 2-3 year olds. Organizes and implements the curriculum to fidelity, implementing lesson plans with developmentally appropriate lessons in the classroom. Plans and provides individual activities that encourage children to develop language and skills, meeting their milestones. Form fostering relationships with each child and family in their classroom. Communicates and shares observations with parents about their child's day. Responsible for collecting and recording child observations regularly regarding child development and completing assessments three times a year. Completes two home visits and two conferences each year with families. Ensures classroom safety through active supervision of the children.
Minimum Experience and Skills Required:
To perform the duties of this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1 year experience in an Early Childhood environment Knowledge of developmentally appropriate interaction with young children Ability to communicate in a professional and appropriate manner with children, parents, and staff Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals, including clients and co-workers, and to maintain effective working relationships with SENDCAA clients and staff Ability to perform work independently under general direction of supervisor Supports team efforts, cooperates with others, and actively learns from other team members Ability to follow protocols, (e.g., chain of command, confidentiality) when communicating with others in the program, families, governing body, policy group, committees, and those in other community programs Ability to carry out the duties of this position while helping to fulfill SENDCAA's mission while adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations The working conditions, environment and the physical requirements/activities listed below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
