In this role, you will serve as a versatile educator, stepping into various classroom settings to support teachers and enrich the learning environment for young children. Your energetic approach and flexible mindset will help foster a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere that promotes childhood development, literacy, social skills, and early intervention strategies. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain diverse classroom experience while making a meaningful impact on children's educational journeys. Responsibilities Assist in implementing curriculum development plans tailored to different age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers. Support classroom management and behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment. Collaborate with lead teachers to develop lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, literacy education, math activities, and physical education. Engage with children during activities, promoting social-emotional growth, early intervention strategies, and child welfare practices. Provide attentive childcare, including toddler care routines and classroom supervision to ensure safety and well-being. Contribute to classroom experience by facilitating activities that enhance childhood development milestones and standardized testing preparation when applicable. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support educational goals and child welfare initiatives. Skills Strong background in early childhood education with experience in preschool settings or daycare environments. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Knowledge of special education needs, behavior management strategies, and early intervention practices. Familiarity with Montessori methods, literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education. Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, and colleagues across diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments as a floater teacher. Experience working with students who have special needs or require additional support is highly valued.
