Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Nebraska Teaching Certification (or eligibility for reciprocal certification) Endorsement or credential as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Experience working with K-12 students who are visually impaired is preferred Strong skills in assistive technology and adaptive techniques Excellent communication and organizational abilities Availability to start on August 17, 2026 in a 1.4 FTE role
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative services to students identified as visually impaired Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with general education staff, families, and related service personnel Travel between cooperative districts as needed Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress effectively
