Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type All Job Types Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role provides an opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educators and help diverse learners thrive academically and personally in a supportive educational environment.
Key Requirements and Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working with students with a range of disabilities and support needs Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation Ability to adapt instruction, materials, and strategies for individualized learning Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and related service providers Organized, patient, and flexible, with a growth mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver differentiated instruction to meet individual student goals and abilities Develop, write, and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed Create a welcoming and encouraging classroom environment that fosters inclusivity and respect Communicate proactively with families and team members regarding student growth and needs Participate in school meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development opportunities Dive into a rewarding position where you'll help empower students to reach their fullest potential.
