Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification (active or eligible) School-based experience preferred, particularly with elementary students Strong knowledge of current special education practices and legal requirements Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs tailored to students' unique needs

Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction to small groups and individual students within the special education program Collaborate with general education teachers through co-teaching and other supportive models Develop, review, and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
