Job Description

This full-time contract position is available for the 2026-2027 academic year, running from August through June. Both elementary and high school assignments are open, and you'll have the chance to support learners who benefit from your expertise and care.
Ideal candidates have:
Active Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility for certification in the state) Experience planning and delivering individualized instruction for students with varying needs Ability to develop and implement IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication skills to partner with families, staff, and students A passion for fostering inclusion and access for all students Flexibility and reliability for a full academic year commitment Key responsibilities include: Designing lesson plans that address diverse learning styles and abilities Assessing student progress and modifying instruction to meet evolving goals Collaborating with general education staff, related service providers, and families Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance Engaging in professional development as required by the school Creating a nurturing environment that supports student success and well-being This role offers the stability of a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, with 32-37.5 hours per week.
