Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred Comprehensive knowledge of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to diverse classroom needs Up-to-date background check and relevant state credentials
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver differentiated instruction based on student IEPs and unique learning needs Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive learning environment Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instructional strategies as needed Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary team collaboration Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages student engagement and independence Maintain required documentation and compliance with all educational regulations
