Haverhill Haverhill Cooperative Middle School (grades 4-8) is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for the remaining 2025-2026 school year with a strong possibility of continuing next year. Candidates must possess Special Educator Certification or an NH Dept. of Education Statement of Eligibility for Special Education. Familiarity with competency-based education and grading is a plus.
Duties to include:
  • Provide modified academic instruction to students with a range of disabilities within the regular classroom setting and in resource room settings
  • Modify/adapt materials/lessons in accordance with student needs and IEP goals
  • Collaborate/consult with related service providers, other special educators, general educators and supervise Paraprofessional(s)
  • Conduct assessments, write reports, and participate in IEP team meetings
  • Write & implement IEPs and progress reports; maintain and appropriately distribute related data and documentation.
