2026-2027 School Year Autism/Behavior Support Specialist with Additional Summer Employment Options William J.
White Educational & Behavioral Consulting Services About Us:
For the past 35 years, our company has been a growing provider of educational and behavioral support services for children in public-school settings throughout the state of New Hampshire. We are currently accepting applications for full-time Support Specialists to join our highly experienced team at a starting pay rate of $44,000 following the school calendar year of 43 weeks ($1,000+ gross pay on our weekly payroll plan) plus full benefits and training. Staff also have the opportunity to continue to work in the summer months on a part time basis with additional hourly compensation at $30/hour. We truly offer opportunities for advancement, as most of ourconsultant and coordinator staff have worked with us for more than 15 years.
Job summary:
The Autism/Behavior Support Specialist works in collaboration with educators and related service staff to provide academic, social-emotional, and behavioral support in a public-school setting for children identified with ASD and/or related co-morbid conditions. Support is provided on a 1:1 basis in individual, small groups, classroom, or school wide settings. Direct supervision and training towards obtaining a Registered Behavior Technician certification is provided by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. The goal is always to assist the student in acquiring the skills necessary to actively participate in an integrated program with peers in a public-school setting. Applicants with a Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or related field and/or currently certified registered behavior technician (RBT) preferred.
