Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as responsible for developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to support students with special needs. This role plays a vital part in fostering an inclusive and effective learning environment that promotes academic success for all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning needs. Provide direct instruction and support to students in both one-on-one and group settings. Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations. Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to design and implement effective teaching strategies. Monitor, assess, and document student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary. Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP goals.
Qualifications:
1-5 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a related role. Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation. New Jersey Educational Services Certificate or Sub Cert Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams. Passion for education and dedication to supporting student growth. Flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic school setting. Must pass a criminal background check and provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal work authorization
Pay:
$40.00 - $57.00 per hour
