K-Pop Dance Instructor (Part-Time)

Closter Performing Arts, Closter, NJ Schedule:
Tuesday (September-June) 4:15 PM
  • 5:00 PM (Ages 4-5) 5:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM (Ages 6-9) 6:00 PM
  • 7:00 PM (Ages 10+) 7:00 PM
  • 8:00 Pm (Teens) About the Position Closter Performing Arts is seeking an energetic, reliable, and passionate K-Pop Dance Instructor to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 season.
The ideal candidate will inspire students of all ages through engaging classes that build confidence, musicality, coordination, performance quality, and a love of dance. Responsibilities Teach weekly K-Pop dance classes for students ages 4 and up. Create age-appropriate choreography inspired by current and popular K-Pop styles. Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment. Develop students' rhythm, coordination, performance skills, and stage presence. Prepare students for the annual recital and any additional performances. Communicate professionally with studio staff and families. Attend faculty meetings and performance rehearsals as needed. Maintain classroom organization and uphold studio policies. Qualifications Experience teaching K-Pop, commercial dance, hip-hop, jazz, or related styles. Strong classroom management skills with children and teens. Ability to choreograph engaging routines for multiple age groups. Positive attitude, professionalism, and reliability. Prior teaching experience preferred. Experience performing or training in K-Pop dance styles is highly desirable. What We Offer Supportive and welcoming studio environment.
