What You'll Do As a Direct Support Professional, you'll provide one-on-one support tailored to each individual's interests, strengths, and goals.

Responsibilities include:

Community Engagement Accompany individuals to community activities, restaurants, shopping, parks, movies, recreational programs, and local events. Encourage participation in hobbies, fitness, and social opportunities. Support the development of friendships and community connections. Help individuals build confidence and independence while participating in everyday activities. Daily Support Assist with planning daily activities and maintaining routines. Provide guidance with organization, time management, and goal setting. Assist with transportation to approved activities and appointments. Support daily living skills as needed while encouraging independence. Documentation & Communication Complete accurate service documentation. Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and other members of the support team. Follow individualized support plans and agency policies. Attend required trainings and meetings. Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Patient, dependable, and compassionate. Positive, engaging, and enjoys working with people. Organized and able to adapt to changing situations. Comfortable encouraging independence while providing appropriate support. Able to build trusting, professional relationships. Reliable and able to work independently. Experience working with individuals with ADHD, intellectual or developmental disabilities, education, recreation, behavioral health, or human services is a plus—but not required. We'll provide the training and support you need to succeed. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass required background checks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to complete required paid training. Preferred Experience in caregiving, education, behavioral health, recreation, coaching, or human services. CPR and First Aid certification. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
