For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Our client is seeking Learning Disabiities Teacher in Ocean County. Starting $62/hourSUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Must have own testing kits and protocols in Spanish
- Assess students' learning characteristics
- Consult with teachers
- Work with a multidisciplinary team
- Determine eligibility for special services
- Provide research-based strategies
- Ability to analyze data and develop evidence-based interventions
- Knowledge of legal and ethical guidelines related to student privacy and confidentiality
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Minimum of a Master's Degree
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in Child Study field
- NJ State Certifications
- Experience treating young adult populations
- Ability to complete and pass background checks prior to starting
- School based experience with Administrative Codes, Rules and Regulations
- Experience with Time Management, Deadlines, Diverse School Settings
- Familiar with evaluations, therapy, and case management
- Must be willing to obtain register/archive fingerprints under Delta-T Group codes.
