We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team to provide guidance and support to our members in the day-to-day programing at our dedicated career center for adults with autism. All coaching, support and teaching staff are provided with extensive training. Experience working with an autistic population is NOT required. Candidates in any field who are interested in working with individuals with special needs are encouraged to apply.

Compensation:

$37,000-$47,000 per year, Full-time Monday to Friday.

Starting annual salary $37,000-$47,000 • , full-time Monday to Friday. Medical and dental insurance (Employee contribution for single coverage is currently $75 per month). Major federal holidays, according to the company calendar. 10 Vacation days and 5 sick/personal days per year. 403 B retirement plan. Paid training. Deaf Responsibilities:

Coaching, support, and teaching staff report directly to the

Program Director and:

Directly support our members with all activities throughout the day. Assist in developing, planning, teaching, and reporting on educational enrichment and job training classes with members. Maintain involvement, community, and safety. Work directly with members to facilitate participation and communication. Exemplify all rules, regulations, and policies set forth by the program. Assisting with all aspects of the program and other activities

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older. Must pass state mandated background checks and drug screening. Must take and pass all training required by NJ Department of the Developmentally Disabled. Must have an interest in and be comfortable working with the special needs community. Must have strong communication skills and experience working on a team. Must be computer proficient in a Microsoft environment. Bachelor's Degree a plus Experience working with young adults with AUTISM a plus.
