These individuals will plan and present age appropriate activities for children. As a Lead Teacher at Away We Grow Childcare we encourage our staff to be passionate and patient with our children. We desire lead teachers that enjoy watching the children thrive and learn and truly connect with the families. A Lead Teacher would be responsible for lesson plans, structuring of the classroom, primary care of the children and the willingness to learn and grow through education and training. We are looking for someone who has prior experience in childcare or is going to school, or has graduated with a degree in Early Childhood, Psychology, or another degree dealing with childhood development.

Responsibilities:

Instruct preschool-aged or toddler aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth Create a fun and safe learning environment Develop schedules and routines that align with our curriculum requirements Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields is a plus. Passionate about working with children. Ability to build rapport with children. Positive and patient demeanor. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
