In this vital role, you will design and implement individualized educational plans, foster inclusive classroom environments, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote academic success and personal growth. Your enthusiasm for empowering students with disabilities will help unlock their full potential and create a positive, engaging learning experience. Duties Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and goals Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles across subjects such as literacy, math, and life skills Adapt instructional materials and teaching strategies to accommodate students with disabilities, including those with autism, hearing impairments, or developmental delays Utilize behavioral therapy techniques and behavior management strategies to support positive classroom behavior Conduct assessments, standardized testing, and progress monitoring to evaluate student development and inform instruction Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, counselors, and other specialists to provide comprehensive support Manage classroom environment effectively through classroom management techniques that foster a safe, inclusive space for all learners Engage in ongoing professional development related to early intervention, childhood development, Montessori methods, or other specialized educational approaches Requirements Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred Valid teaching certification/license for special education in the relevant jurisdiction Proven classroom experience working with children with disabilities in diverse settings such as private schools or early childhood programs Strong knowledge of IEP development, behavioral health strategies, and behavioral therapy techniques Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or in early intervention programs Excellent communication skills for mentoring students and collaborating with families and team members Familiarity with curriculum development tools, literacy education methods, math instruction strategies, and standardized testing procedures Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a nurturing learning environment Join us in making a meaningful difference!
