We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to lead our self-contained Intensive Learning Community classroom. This teacher provides direct, individualized instruction to students receiving special education services and works closely with students, families, and colleagues to support academic, social-emotional, and behavioral growth.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned to IEP goals and the general curriculum.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor student IEPs and progress.
  • Use student data to guide instruction and decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate special education documentation and records.
  • Collaborate with families, general education teachers, service providers, and paraprofessionals.
  • Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • New Mexico Special Education teaching license
  • Criminal background clearance
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Experience with special education, Direct Instruction, Social-Emotional Learning, culturally and linguistically responsive teaching, or bilingual/TESOL education is valued. Compensation
Salary is based on education, experience, and New Mexico teaching license level:

Level 1: $57,368+

Level 2: $68,832+

Level 3: $80,421+
