Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract position supporting middle and high school students as a Special Education Teacher during the 2026-2027 academic year. In this role, you'll join a dedicated team committed to making a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs. The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, following a convenient Monday-Thursday schedule with full-time hours (8 hours per day). There are two positions available, offering an excellent opportunity to share your passion for inclusive education.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) Experience working with middle and/or high school students Ability to adapt instruction for students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder, Other Health Impairments (OHI), Speech-Language Impairments, and additional needs Strong knowledge of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and special education compliance Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
