LOCATION

Special Education - Multiple Locations

BASIC FUNCTION

To implement IEP goals and objectives for each student.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assessment, curriculum development, instruction and evaluation of students with handicapping conditions. Job Qualifications NYS certificate as a Teacher of the Deaf. Knowledge of total communication techniques and fluent sign language skills preferred. The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001. Application Procedure SALARY offer will be in accordance with Teachers Unit contract, commensurate with relevant experience and prorated to amount of service rendered. BOCES employee salary commensurate with experience and in accordance with contract language.
