Job Qualifications Qualifications Required:
Candidates must possess a master degree in behavioral analysis, education or psychology along with a current NYS teaching certification in special education or students with disabilities OR meet the Civil Service qualifications; AND be licensed as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) OR seeking/enrolled in required coursework to obtain the BCBA certification.
Qualifications Desired:
This is a BOCES-wide position which will include travel between. We are looking for an energetic, collaborative, student-centered individual who is committed to students and especially students with special needs. The Behavior Support Specialists are individuals who model excellence in applied behavior analysis and will consult with staff on best practices to utilize with students.
