Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract position extends from July 2024 through August 2026, offering a part-time schedule for professionals who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in students' lives. Work closely with learners in an onsite setting, tailoring instruction and interventions for diverse academic needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active New York State Special Education Teacher Certification required Completion of NY DOE fingerprinting process Prior experience working with secondary students in an educational or tutoring capacity preferred Knowledge of IEP development and implementation Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams Ability to individualize instructional strategies and adapt materials as needed
Key Responsibilities:
