Job Description
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid and current New York Special Education Teaching license, including all necessary endorsements and certifications. Experience working with students with Emotional Disabilities in grades 11-12 preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills. Adaptability to work effectively with diverse learners, colleagues, and families. Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive educational environment.Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and small group instruction aligned with students' IEP goals and state standards. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the academic and emotional needs of students. Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed. Collaborate effectively with support staff, administration, and families to ensure a comprehensive approach to student success.
