Job Description

Happy Dragon CPSE program is currently seeking full time special education teacher . This position would be working in a classroom with students has IEP in Queens. Our goal is to create an inclusive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters growth and success for all students.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated CPSE Integrated Classroom Teacher to lead a preschool classroom with both general education and special education students. The teacher will collaborate with therapists, support staff, and families to provide high-quality instruction and individualized learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with IEP goals and early childhood learning standards Create a nurturing and structured classroom environment that encourages student participation and development Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students, including those with disabilities Work collaboratively with special education providers, therapists (OT, PT, Speech), and paraprofessionals Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and IEP documentation Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to support student growth.
Qualifications:
New York State Certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2) AND Special Education (Students with Disabilities, Birth-Grade 2) Experience working in CPSE or early childhood education settings is preferred Strong understanding of child development, IEP implementation, and differentiated instruction Ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Excellent communication and organizational skills
