Key Qualifications:
Valid dual certification in both Early Childhood Education and Special Education (required) Previous experience teaching or assisting in early childhood or special education settings Strong classroom management skills, especially with young children Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities when working with families, colleagues, and support staff Deep understanding of diverse learning needs, IEP implementation, and effective instructional strategies for Pre-K students
Role Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction to a caseload of 10-15 Pre-K students, adapting lesson plans to meet individual needs and goals Develop and implement IEPs, progress monitoring, and educational assessments Establish a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment within a single building Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and service providers to support students' academic and social development Communicate regularly with families to celebrate progress and share resources This role allows you to immerse yourself in a supportive educational community dedicated to helping students reach their full potential.
