Salary:
In accordance with the AEA Negotiated Salary Schedule Reports to: Director of Special Education, Building Principal, Director of Pupil and Staff Services, and/or Superintendent
Qualifications:
Valid Ohio Teaching License:
Intervention Specialist (K-12); Education of Handicapped (K-12); Alternative Intervention Specialist (P-12) or (K-12) Experience teaching students with disabilities preferred Performance evaluated in accordance with
OTES 2.0

Responsibilities and Expectations:
Perform all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Austintown Local School District Policy and Procedures Follow and execute the Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Special Education, Building Principal, and/or the Superintendent The successful applicant must have the following on file prior to start: Appropriate and valid Ohio teaching credential Current favorable State and Federal background checks Official Sealed Transcripts Negative drug screen Employees must follow all board policies, all state, and federal laws, and adhere to the Ohio Code of Ethics set up by the Ohio Department of Education. Subject to all applicable laws, essential job functions of this position include the employee being punctual and capable of completing all of the duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
