Position requirements: Horizon Science Academy Cincinnati/Dayton is looking for Intervention Specialists to join our team for the 26-27 School Year.

Responsibilities:

Support the school's mission, philosophies, values, goals, and policies toward students, parents/guardians and coworkers.

IEP Development & Implementation:

Designing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with unique needs.

Instructional Support:

Adapting general education curriculum, planning lessons, and providing specialized instruction to students with disabilities.

Progress Monitoring & Data Analysis:

Utilizing diagnostic instruments, assessing learning goals, and analyzing data to adjust interventions.

Collaboration:

Working with staff, parents, and administrators to ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws (IDEA). Share best practices with other teachers and collaborate with them to improve instructional and assessment practices. Interact frequently and respectfully with students/staff.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree Valid OH Intervention Specialist License Minimum of 5 years

Compensation packages are competitive and commensurate with experience.
