Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic full-time contract position where you'll make a genuine difference in the lives of young learners. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, serving a K-1 Autism classroom as a dedicated Special Education Teacher. This engaging role is well-suited for passionate educators who thrive in specialized settings and appreciate a structured schedule. In this assignment, you will teach in a special education classroom supporting students with Autism or Multiple Disabilities (AU or MD). Your expertise and encouragement will foster growth and independence within your class community.

Desired Qualifications:

Current state licensure as a Special Education Teacher (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and/or Multiple Disabilities preferred Deep commitment to inclusive, individualized education practices Strong classroom management and collaborative skills Capable of developing and modifying IEPs to suit student needs

Key Responsibilities:
