Category Schools - Special Education Teacher - Telehealth Job Type Contract A Special Education Teacher is sought for a telehealth role focused on intervention services at the secondary education level. This contract position involves providing specialized support designed to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities through remote instruction and guidance.

Fairborn, OH Schedule:

Approximately 20 hours per week

Assignment Type:

Contract (cannot be combined with other assignments within the same organization)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored intervention services to students with special needs via telehealth platforms. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student assessments and educational goals. Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Track and document student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary. Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to special education services.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid state certification in Special Education. Experience working with secondary school students, preferably in telehealth settings. Strong understanding of intervention strategies and instructional technology. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students remotely. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a part-time contract.
