Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Key Qualifications:
Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License is required Prior experience with middle and/or high school students preferred Strong organizational skills for progress monitoring and reporting Ability to create instructional trials and effective student supports Enthusiastic about working in a supportive educational environment
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and share updates with stakeholders Develop creative instructional methods and necessary supports for student success Collaborate with team members to foster an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere Focus on teaching and support—no IEP writing required
