What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

Special Education Services

Provide high-quality instruction and intervention for students with IEPs, 504 Plans, and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

Collaborate with general education teachers to support students through inclusive practices and co-teaching.

Implement accommodations, modifications, and specialized instruction aligned with each student's educational plan.

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate service logs, assessment data, and progress reports.

Advocate for the academic, behavioral, and social needs of students with disabilities.

IEP & Compliance

Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs, Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs), Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), 504 Plans, and other required special education documentation.

Coordinate and facilitate IEP, Evaluation Team, and intervention meetings in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Assist with transitions, evaluations, and planning for newly enrolled students receiving special education services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist (Special Education) teaching license.

Successful completion of required state and federal background checks.

Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and Ohio special education regulations.

Experience with student data analysis and progress monitoring.

Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and educational technology.

Work Schedule

School hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Attendance at staff meetings, IEP meetings, professional development, conferences, and required trainings.
