Category Schools - Special Education Teacher - Telehealth Job Type Contract A special education instructor with expertise in telehealth is sought for a contract position in North Canton, OH, providing specialized support to secondary school students. This role requires delivering intervention services tailored to diverse learning needs, ensuring compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs) through remote platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide targeted special education instruction and intervention via telehealth to secondary school students. Collaborate with school staff to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs). Utilize virtual tools effectively to engage students and adapt teaching strategies to meet educational goals. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders. Adhere to all regulatory and ethical guidelines related to special education and telehealth delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid special education teaching credentials. Proven experience in delivering special education services, preferably with telehealth modalities. Strong knowledge of intervention strategies for secondary school students. Ability to manage caseloads independently and maintain confidentiality. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Additional Details:
Position is a part-time contract for 20 hours per week. Assignment cannot be combined with other related roles within the same geographic area.
