Active Oklahoma Special Education License We are seeking an Elementary Special Education Resource Teacher to provide direct instruction and resource support for students with mild to moderate disabilities. This role will focus on helping students access grade-level curriculum while receiving individualized support based on their IEP goals. The teacher will provide pull-out and/or push-in services, deliver targeted academic instruction, monitor progress, and collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct specialized instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities. Support students in accessing grade-level curriculum through accommodations and modifications. Deliver pull-out and/or push-in resource support based on student IEP services. Implement IEP goals, interventions, progress monitoring, and instructional supports. Collaborate with general education teachers to support student success in the classroom. Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation. Track student progress and adjust instruction based on data and student needs. Support students with academic, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional needs.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator who can balance direct instruction with classroom support. They should be confident working with elementary students, managing IEP responsibilities, and helping students build confidence while closing skill gaps.
