Job Description

This opportunity allows you to bring your expertise and passion for individualized learning to a supportive school environment near Okmulgee, OK.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs Strong classroom management and communication abilities Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Excellent collaboration skills to engage with parents, staff, and related service providers Adaptability, compassion, and a commitment to fostering student success
Key Responsibilities:
Create and deliver effective instructional plans tailored to each student's unique abilities Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams Use various teaching strategies, materials, and technology to maximize student engagement and growth Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust strategies as necessary Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that ensures a safe and respectful environment Communicate regularly with families and colleagues to promote consistent support for students' needs This contract position provides flexibility and the chance to build strong connections with both students and staff.
