Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid state certification in Special Education Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field Classroom experience working with students who have a range of disabilities Ability to implement and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to culturally responsive teaching practices
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet individual student needs Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal requirements Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies as necessary Foster a safe, supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to provide comprehensive support Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district policies
