Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract A contract Special Education Teacher position is available in Molalla, OR, offering an opportunity to support diverse learners in a dynamic school environment. This role involves designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities, fostering an inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes academic and social growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student's requirements Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities Assess student progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with educational standards Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with parents and guardians Support students' social and emotional development alongside academic goalsQualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with students with disabilities in a K-12 setting Strong knowledge of special education laws, guidelines, and best practices Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to create an engaging, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Commitment to student-centered instruction and continuous professional developmentLocation:
