Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an impact as a Special Education Teacher working with a dedicated K-2nd grade caseload for the 26/27 school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to support early learners near Newport, OR in a highly collaborative educational setting. With fewer than 20 students on your roster, you'll have the ability to focus on individualized instruction, delivering meaningful outcomes for your students without the support of an instructional assistant. Desired Qualifications:
Current teaching certification in Special Education (state-specific credential required) Previous experience teaching students with varying exceptionalities (K-2nd preferred) Strong understanding of IEP development, assessment, and implementation Ability to differentiate instruction and manage a diverse caseload effectively Excellent organizational and communication skills Adaptability and creativity in problem-solvingPrimary Responsibilities:
