Special Education Teacher | Salem, Oregon ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Salem, OR Job Details Full-time | Contract 11 hours ago Qualifications Student caseload management Working with students Elementary school teaching Special education for elementary school students Special Education Certification Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working onsite as a dedicated special education professional for the upcoming academic year, with positions available supporting elementary students in behavior classrooms and overseeing high-volume learning resource classrooms. Starting September 8, 2026, and concluding June 17, 2027, you'll play a central role in nurturing student growth and fostering a positive learning environment full-time (37.5 hours/week). What you'll bring: Active Special Education Teacher certification or license issued by the state of Oregon Substantial experience working with behaviors in elementary settings, including managing physical aggression and elopement from buildings (for behavior classroom roles) Proven ability handling high-volume LRC caseloads (around 43 students) and effectively managing diverse learning needs Commitment to working exclusively onsite throughout the assignment
