Aug 10, 2026 Job Description Special Education Teacher (Grades 6-8) Lehigh Valley Academy Regional Charter School | Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Lehigh Valley Academy (LVA) is seeking a collaborative Special Education Teacher to support students in Grades 6-8 within our International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme. This position is ideal for an educator who believes in inclusive practices, high expectations for all learners, and the power of strong relationships to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Special education teachers work as valued members of interdisciplinary teams, partnering closely with general education teachers, instructional specialists, school counselors, and behavior support staff to ensure that every student has access to meaningful and challenging learning experiences.
