As soon as Pennsylvania clearances are submitted and required pre-training is completed Job Overview We are seeking 2 dedicated Special Education Teachers to join a learning center in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania for the 2026-2027 school year. These are full-time, on-site positions working with students in Autistic Support classrooms . Classroom assignments and student needs may be subject to change based on the needs of the program. This is an excellent opportunity for a Special Education Teacher who is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs and wants to make a meaningful impact in a structured learning environment. Responsibilities Provide individualized and small-group instruction Implement and monitor IEP goals Support students with autism and other learning needs Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies Monitor and document student progress Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive classroom Implement appropriate behavioral and classroom management strategies Collaborate with school staff, related service providers, and families Participate in IEP meetings and other student support activities Maintain accurate student documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field Valid Pennsylvania Special Education certification or eligibility for Pennsylvania certification Special education teaching experience preferred Experience working with students with autism or in an Autistic Support setting preferred Knowledge of IEPs, progress monitoring, and individualized instruction Strong classroom management and communication skills Clearance & Start Requirements Candidates must be able to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances and assigned pre-training before beginning the assignment.

$42.00 - $48.00 per hour
