Job Description

Step into a meaningful role supporting students' success as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year. Two full-time contract openings are available: one serving middle school and one serving high school students. This position runs from August 19th to June 3rd, with hours from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM. Your expertise will be vital in guiding students with special education needs, collaborating closely with colleagues and families, and fostering a supportive learning atmosphere.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania Special Education Certification (PA SPED cert) Current PA state clearances Experience teaching in a special education setting, preferably at the middle or high school level Ability to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and adapt curriculum as needed Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to creating a positive, encouraging environment for diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
